5. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate RateResolver, including providers for payment processing, hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, analytics, error monitoring, and security. These providers process data only as needed to perform their services.

Customer feedback submitted through the platform may be processed by AI providers, including OpenAI and Perplexity, for the purpose of classifying feedback, generating summaries, and identifying issues. We do not use your data to train AI models.

We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not store passwords or payment details on our servers — authentication is handled by our auth provider and payments are processed entirely by payment processor.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve our services:

  • Authentication cookies — JWT-based session cookies managed by Supabase to keep you signed in
  • Preference cookies — such as your currently selected business in the dashboard
  • Analytics cookies — set by PostHog and Rybbit to understand usage patterns
  • Session replay cookies — set by OpenReplay to enable session recordings for debugging purposes

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the service.

9. AI-Powered Data Processing

RateResolver uses artificial intelligence to process customer feedback submitted through the platform. This includes:

  • Classifying and tagging feedback to identify common themes and issues
  • Generating summaries of customer conversations
  • Analyzing business websites during onboarding to suggest relevant settings

AI processing is performed through OpenAI and Perplexity, accessed via Vercel AI Gateway. Customer feedback content is sent to these providers for processing and is handled in accordance with their respective data processing agreements.

We do not use customer feedback data to train AI models. Data sent to AI providers is used solely to generate responses and analysis for the specific request.

10. Session Recordings

We use session recording tools within the RateResolver dashboard solely for product improvement and debugging purposes — such as understanding how users navigate the interface, identifying usability issues, and resolving errors.

Recordings capture general interaction data like clicks, scrolls, and page navigation. Sensitive personal information such as passwords, payment details, and other private fields is automatically excluded or masked. Session recordings are never used for advertising, profiling, or shared with third parties.

Session recordings are not made on the public marketing website.

11. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

12. Children

The service is intended for users aged 18 and older.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18.
